Whitstable Yacht Club is one of the oldest and largest sailing clubs in England. The club offers sailing in sheltered waters at all times of the tide for catamarans, dinghies, and windsurfers with yachts in nearby creeks which dry out.

Westbere Sailing Opportunities is a registered charity and RYA Sailability Centre of Excellence, with the sole purpose of giving an experience of sailing to people of all ages with disabilities.

Westbere Frostbite Sailing Association
A great place for both competitive and friendly sailing, the club promotes winter dinghy racing and has grown to provide for both winter racing and summer pottering. The club has a current membership of around 70 and is open to all.
Tankerton Bay Sailing Club
The Club House is constructed at the base of a grass slope, providing 3 main levels to the building. On the ground floor is the Bosun’s locker, our Suport Boat and storage under the balcony. The first floor level consists of a main area, bar and galley all leading to a large balcony overlooking the beach and sea. The balcony is ideal for watching the racing, the water being just 7 metres away!

The sailing season is between March and November around the Swale Estuary and Whitstable Bay. New members are welcome.
